"Elysee Balogun, a Nigerian by birth, found his calling in the world of Film. Born and raised in Kinshasa, DRC Congo and moved to South Africa at the age of 10 for knowledge and educational pursuits.

His educational journey paved the way for his creative endeavours, as he attended Yeshua Christian Primary School and Bergvliet High School before honing his skills at AFDA: School of the Creative Economy. It was here that his passion for the art of storytelling through visuals truly matured.
Elysee is a qualified cinematographer, but his ambition and talent extend far beyond the lens, with a multifaceted skill set that includes cinematography, editing, visual effects, and even acting.
Having interned with Showmax and Stage Five Films projects, Elysee has acquired a wealth of experience and expertise in the industry. His dream is to ascend to the role of Director of Photography (DOP) and Focus Puller, where he can craft visual narratives that captivate audiences worldwide.
